MexFest has already garnered the support and interest of the Mexican and Canadian communities in Toronto. Association with what will be a highly successful and well-attended Festival will help to build your company profile and presence.
Social Media Platforms
We will further establish our online presence utilizing the various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) spearheading contests and conversation within the Mexican and Canadian communities and attracting Festival supporters and attendees.
Guerilla and Experiential Marketing
We are planning a number of exciting Guerilla and Experiential marketing opportunities to engage audiences and attract attendees in unique and fun ways. We will be organizing and executing Mariachi Flash Mobs and Mariachi Mini-Van happenings in target locations throughout the city.
Print and Street-Level Advertising
We are focusing our advertising dollars on establishing a presence on TTC vehicles and at TTC stations – accessing the 2.2 million daily riders. Discussions with the TTC and Pattison Outdoor are underway. We will strategically place ads in all national and regional Toronto papers, in various diverse community papers and online portals for events and activities within the city. We will also be distributing posters (5,000) and post-cards (50,000) across the GTA at target locations.
PR and Media Exposure:
Our supporting partners will be featured in all press releases that will be circulated to all major media outlets. Both a logo and a brief description about supporting partners will be included.
- Press Release #1 – Announce new Festival, highlighting dates, scope of Festival, and key supporters.
- Press Release #2 – Announcement about participants in Festival.
- Press Release #3 – Full announcement with all venues and participants listed.
- Press Release #4 – Announce Festival Kick-off, new partnerships and events that may have been added.
We are also in the process of securing key support from networks by creating fun and engaging spots to be featured in Community segments on local news stations – RogersTV, CityTV, Global, etc.
